Gran prize at the IX All-Russian musical contest of male choirs "Singing male brotherhood"
October, 16, 2011, the Vocal Ensemble of the Konakovo Boys and Youth Choral School won Gran prize at the IX All-Russian musical contest of male choirs "Singing male brotherhood", Kaluga town.
The Youth Choir took the First prize in "Youth choirs" category, the Vocal Ensemble - the Second prize in "Vocal ensembles" category.
The choir director, Protoiereus Vadim Makhnovsky was awarded as "Best conductor of the "Singing male brotherhood".
For the time being, "Singing male brotherhood" is the largest contest of the kind in Russia.
